Win 10 Software Center Stuck Installing
It was in stopped state.
Win 10 software center stuck installing. Testing software updates on some test machines. We have new sccm environment 1910 version. After the windows update downloads updates windows will install the ones it can and save others to install when you restart your computer.
Windows ccmcache folder there is a temporary folder but it is empty. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they were able to resolve. It can happen that we pull our hair out on this problem a user wants to install an application but the latter gets stuck in the software center on 0 download.
I have deployed windows 10 august updates and adobe flash player monthly updates to my windows 10 estate but all devices seem to be stuck at downloading 0 after a period of time roughly an hour the status changes to failed. All these win 8 1 and win 10 machines are in same subnet and checked for boundary and boundary groups. I can install all and its just this on repeat.
What is the purpose for this. The upgrade according to all logs i ve read completed successfully yet in software center the ts is still installing. The resolution was.
During the process you will access a blue screen and windows 10 upgrade gets stuck at a certain point with a prompt like keep your pc on until this is done. On all win 10 machines updates are stuck at 0 downloading. On all win 8 1 test machines patches got installed.
It is because smstsmgr has started after ccmexec. During an operating system deployment of windows 10 via configuration manager the install software updates task sequence may freeze when large numbers for example 50 or more of updates are applied. I waited overnight to see if it would time out from maximum time being exceeded but when i came back this morning the software center still shows the application status installing it won t die.
